Twin's debut

The creative and colorful invitation
Stunning twins
I got my invitation last week to this party which is in all honesty excites me because of it's cute and literally colorful invitation. It's a bit late when I got my invitation but since the first week of September, we've been talking about this debut. I went with my best friends Ricky and Chelsi - and we're late! Yunno, "Better late than never." (Strike 2 after the PICC convention. Haha!) So there, the event start. What I like about this event is that it's not the formal debut but it has the touch of the old tradition. In exchange of 18 roses, they made it 18 chocolates, 18 candles are 18 bags and 18 treasures are 18 dresses. Oh 'di ba? Ang bongga! Hahaha. The food is great too, but what I really really like are the desserts home-made by their mom. Desserts are heaven! :))) Also, it's amazing that I've seen the twins grew into beautiful, talented, awesome and God-fearing women. So now you know why they were so blessed, it's because of the last two words before this sentence. Hope they'll stay the same as time goes by. Aside from them who are the stars of the  night, friends are everywhere! It's like a mini High school reunion, it's really fun seeing old friends.

The whole gang! HS friends :)))

Funny faces!
We went home late at night, drove with fun and with Ricky's brother, we went home safely. Thank God! I stayed at Chelsi's house but the happiness continue as we skype with Ricky like we're not together before that minute. Lots of laugh, etc. We invade the night, slept at AM and late at Monday class on school. It's okay to bunk a few class, this is life. Life is fun!

It's been a long time since I came around...

Home for me means being in a place where you feel warmth, love, comfort, and happiness. And I always call Valenzuela City a home for me because I grew up there and made a lot of memories. Also, people who are really close in my heart live there.

Yesterday, I went there to visit my alma mater. The yearbook of our batch was already released and I went to get my copy. I meet long time friends and talk, laugh, eat and more. We visit the High school building and a big change happened there. The school looks so good... and rich. Haha! New teachers, familiar faces, old routines and some places are still there with a bunch of memories we've left. It feels like it's been a long time. Two years since I graduated made a lot of difference. But it feels so good being back to the place you used to live. And I felt the same happiness I feel once again, with my friends and mentors who molded me to become a great person. I feel so blessed and I forgot my stress and problems for a couple of hours.

That's my alma mater, so proud!
When I got my yearbook and about to go home, I can't stop the excitement to touch and read some pages. The faces of my friends, peers, class mates, brothers and sisters - I missed them all! The forthcoming glance - oh, I can't say anything. I'm about to cry when I read it. Seriously. I remember my dreams and goals and the things I want to do in my life. And how it change me 2 years ago.

Some dreams might not be as perfect as what it is written in that forthcoming glance, but it touched me and put a heart on my ambitions. I'm glad it was written. And I'm glad I knew this people.

I feel so great.

Reminiscing Life as Senior Year HS

Waking up early than the sun, cook your own breakfast, have a very cold water to take a bath to, and skipping this not-so-remote-but-so-far province (as they say). Then, going home late or sometimes not going home at all. This is my daily routine a year ago when I was still a senior student in high school. I did this five or six times a week. From this province, I take one and a half ride to school. It isn't normal, really. And it wasn't that easy. But I have to face the fact that what is happening and what will happen was because of my choice. I'd love to stay in the same institution for four years. I'd love to stay in the same institution for a reason.

Last saturday, my alma mater celebrated their heart warming Junior and Senior Prom night. Every year, alumnus and other people are allowed to witness the dances and performances they will made (except the party at night) but unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend and watch my schoolmates as they embraced one of the biggest night on their high school years. I still remember the whole day and night of my last prom. From the time that we arrived in Manila and get ready (I had my nail polished, hair and make up done and the most stunning yet simple gown and heels). Until the time that my friend arrived and gave me a free ride and we reached the event area. The whole night was awesome, fantastic, terrific and perfect.
I really missed high school years. When I was in fourth year, I thought that was the hardest year of my life. Full of deadlines, heavy projects, assignments here and there, group activities, club meetings and agendas to meet. But looking on a deeper side, I see it as the happiest time where while having fun and giggles you can learn a lot. Not just in academe but in life.

I remember the first time where we had to shoot a film, I was third year. We really had no idea how. All we know is that we need to be someone as director, actors, writer and cameraman. They have to act and we have to record them. They need scripts to follow. I wrote them and I still have those scripts. The script was very unprofessional yet the result of film was good. In fourth year, we did it again. We made two short films for different subjects. One for Values, which is a short skit about fraternies (we had different topics) and the other one for Filipino IV, El Filibusterismo. The second is a big project for the whole section. It's our final requirement. I was able to write again the script but this time, I had another class mate who wrote some parts of the scripts. Still unprofessional, but the result of film is better. We had ideas, best actors and actresses, and techie persons who are good at filming stuffs. I really give lots of effort, time and patience. And I really missed the arguments, bonding moments, unexpectable happenings and of course the people who made the filming the best and unforgettable experience I ever had.

High school is not just fun, high school is where people had the chance to have a great story that they will cherished for the rest of their lives.

I REALLY MISSED BEING HIGH SCHOOL. But at the end of the day, the reality is that high school days already passed. And you don't have to regret it, you have to be happy, because one day in your life, you've been a high school student. And that's great.

In the end of this post I just want to remind everyone that, "Everything on this earth has its own time and its own season" (my friend says that, so credits). So have your season and enjoy while it lasts.

The Best of 2011

First semester grade. Ann Li. Christmas. Jamli poppers. Bob Ong. Retreat. Bataan. Mama. Nigahiga. Krabs. Graduation. Kimpoy Feliciano. James Reid. College. Birthday. Prom night. Planking. High school. Semester break. Summer.

What would be the top 10 best thing that happened in 2011?
You’ll find it out NOW!

10. Nigahiga
(c) Ryan Higa on Funemployed
Nigahiga, as we all know is one of the most subscribed youtuber of all time. I knew him since 2008 because of my friend, Kurt. Though, I'm not really interested to him that time. Then, time went so fast and it's now 2011. And as I was surfing the internet, I found him once again.  And this time I became really hooked with his videos, his humor and his personality. Ryan Higa is one of the best thing that happened in 2011 because in times of boredom and loneliness, I found something, someone that can make me laugh until death. Hahaha. To Ryan, I salute you for making a lot of people damn happy!

9. Prom night
Sir Marcky, one of the best adviser in the world
Top 9 is my last Promenade night in High School. Why? Because that night really went so good! The food, turn overs of senior to junior students, cottilions, dance showcase, and party was really good. Also, we had a sleepover at my friend's house and the party continued there. Drinks and foods are also amazing and the whole night is unforgettable.

8. Summer
We look so random! Haha
2011's summer made my skin so dark. (As in black!) But it made my heart so overjoyed. Two out of town excursion happened. First was my friend's birthday (Ricky) and the second is the "See Yah Later" party (both happened at Bulacan). We really had a lot of fun!

7. Bataan
Bataan with BTM loves
The 7th best thing happened last October, our 3 days Bataan tour. Before this tour, I encountered a complicated problem. But God is really great, He gave me time to relax and refresh my self. To look on the good side of life, to have fun, to escape complicated happenings and be optimistic. (That tour was supposed to be on September but due to the strong typhoons that happened, it was postponed for a bit.) Good thing is that it happened after I knew this complicated stuff. So, it was set on a perfect date. Everything about the tour is really great except the ghost and scary parts we had encountered.

6.Retreat
With the best people
Retreat (if your in a Catholic school) may be one of the best thing that happened in High School. For me, it's one of the best thing that happened the whole year! It made us realized how important our parents, and God was. It opened my mind to the possibilities that may happen in our lives. And for me, retreat is very important.

5. First sem grade
This is the first time that I am going to talk about my grades (in college). Let's just say that it was better than what I've expect but not so good than what I want. Maybe I have to push harder than what I did before so  I can achieve the grade that I want.

4. High School
Farewell hug :'(
I already graduated last April 2011 and I will really missed High School. I had treasured all the moments happened when I was still High School and I will always bring it on my heart and keep it on my basin of memories that in my life, I've been a high school-er.

3. Bob Ong
This is the real Bob Ong, I swear!

I am a Bob Ong's fan since 2008 and I was really suprised that after two years, I had a conversation with him. It happened when I message his official account on Facebook (yes, he's my friend in Facebook) about the e-book I found somewhere in the internet. To be honest, it's not really my intention to message him about that stuff but piracy is really wrong. And i know deep down in my heart that Bob will be hurt. So, I let him knew about it. Weeks before I opened my account again and I am so surprised that he answered my message and he wall post me! I was like OMG. I am really surprised! The best!

2. Ann Li
The camera's date is epic. Haha, it was wrong! That day  is 11/18/2011

With some of the loyal supporters of Ann (Annlimiteds/Pops)
I'm so lucky! Ann remembered me!
I met Ann in person and she get to know me. 2 days before her play in SM Centerpoint, I went to the rehearsal of the play to see her. (Nagbaka-sakali lang ako) The first time I went on the rehearsal, I have no idea when it was exactly. So I was failed to see her. But the second time is really unforgettable. I texted the Director of the play for the exact area where they do the rehearsals and then I went there. But it wasn't that easy because the area was closed to public. Good thing is that I met some poppers (fans) outside the rehearsal's area and we are three so it's easy to go there. Some of the actors and theater artists are walking here and there. They were so close to us (in distance). And I was so starstruck!  After the rehearsal, I get to knew the other fans and Ann. That was awesome! I went late night, haha. But it's okay! :)

1. Mama
Playing with magic posps. Haha.
Mama inside the box! Haha
I can't say I can't live without her 'cause I already did. It's really hard without her. But she's just here by my side. Again. And I will love her like the unconditional love she gave to us.

Hyacinth: *OMG*

Hahahaha. Lmao.
I was so SHOCKED. :> Kuhanan ng card namin today and so the pictures (js, intramurals, graduation, and class pictures) Nagkandapatong-patong na mga bayarin. My picture costs P440.00 at wag ka, may libre pang picture 'don! Whaaat? Hahaha. Grabe. Ubos talaga!

Bonding with friends.
Nakasama ko ulit ang mga high school a.k.a. *lifetime* friends ko. Okay naman ang araw na 'to. Masaya. Mamimiss ko talaga alma mater ko. :/

Maibabalik ba ang kahapon?

Mamimiss ko talaga ang fourth year life ko. Peksman!

Haaay. Closing party na kanina. Ang sarap kumain, kamayan. Kaya lang riot talaga, as in! Hahahaha. Daming handa: Chicken with sarsa, chicken adobo, shanghai, hotdog, talong, itlog na pula, kamatis, manggang hilaw at hinog, saging.. atpb. Solb solb naman. Busog sila.. ako din.

Tapos nanood kami ng Video (VTR and slideshow). B
usog na e, busog pa sa drama. Grabe nakakatouch+nakakaiyak! Super reminisced.

Paulit-ulit ba? Hahaha.

"Hala! Super thanks! :) Hindi talaga ko makapaniwala e.

Tapos na ang mga entrance exam. College na ba 'ko? Ilang linggo na lang, graduation na. Waaah! *panic*

Senior Year movie

Aside from our movies last year and this year for the Filipino subject, I haven't watch any indie film before. And this was the first time that I did. We watched Senior Year this afternoon. But... when we enter the cinema, the movie was already starting, that was their last "filming" of that show... and we were like *ughhhh*

First, I want to give kudos to those who contributed and support the film no matter how many hardships they had pass. I knew how an indie film goes. So for me, doing a job like that is an awesome-yet-fulfillment job. It was not an easy joke. It was a responsibility. Patience. Guts. Faith.

So, let's go back to the movie. I did expect something from the film. Even if its production was low quality, I expect that it was a terse. But I was wrong. The movie play all good but not like what I expect. I forgot to lower my expectations. Sorry. But the film, as a whole, made me realized that senior year is really a senior year. The movie was really true to life, I was touched. I laugh. I made face. I was amazed.

"High school is not the end of our lives, it is just the end of our childhood."

"EWW"

Eww. Gara ng post ko. Super diary-type.

Hahahaha. :/

Senior Year

I've been waiting for this movie since last week. My peers and I went Manila to have a shooting for completing our requirements in a specific subject. When we are in Monumento, we saw the trailer of this movie on the big screen. I didn't saw the title. Though, I found out that my sister knew about this.

It is entitled "Senior Year." It is a glimpse into the lives of ten students at St. Frederick's Academy as they struggle through the final months before graduation. Hearts are broken and healed, friendships are formed and lost. Childish ways are thrown out in exchange for seeds of maturity in what may be the beginning of a bumpy ride towards the chaos of adulthood.

Being a senior is really a pressuring one. You need to take for consideration that you are a FOURTH YEAR STUDENT. And you need to face reality with maturity. The movie is still on the coming soon part but I hope I can watch it one of these days.

26 days. :(
I will really miss this crammy but happy life.

Don't forget to...

Entance exam

"Anong course mo?"
"San ka na nag-aaral?"
"Cutting tayo."

College. Kolehiyo.

Madalas kasi akong mag-solo flight.

Unang-una kong exam, University of the Philippines College Admission Test.
Biglaan 'to. First college exam ko kasi yun.

Sumunod, University of the East College Entrance Test.
Eto talaga planado. Walo yata kaming umabsent 'nun o higit pa. Nakakatuwa may orientation pa.

Pangatlo, Lyceum of the Philippines College Entrance Test.
Noon pa man, pangarap ko ng makapag-aral dito. Super! Judgement day, December 4. Goodbye Lyceum, see you in dreams.

Pang-apat, Polytechnic University of the Philippines College Entrance Test.
*cross finger*

Panglima, Bulacan State University Admission Test.

:) Haay...

"It's okay to be different" - lady Gaga

Using Ann Li as a fashion guide made my night.

Yesterday is our Promenade. It was my second and last time doing it in High School. Probably, I want the night to become simple but fabulous as possible. So, months before the Prom, I made my mind deciding on what to wear. I chose white not because I want to *boom*. I chose white because I know and I believe that it's okay to be different. The night was very limited but the moments were very meaningful. We dance. We talk. We laugh a little harder. We enjoy the music and it flows.

This is my gown inspired by Ann Li's gown on the Star Magic ball.

I did enjoy dancing, specially on the Party part of the program. No matter how my feet was tired, I never put off my heels. Ehem! :) Then, after the Promenade we had a sleepover at a friend's home. And I'm fortunate to nap even for 3 hours. (Most of us didn't got a chance to sleep). It's a night to remember in a basin of my memories.

May pagka-introvert kasi ako. Mas mataas kasi 'don kaya siguro mas malamig. At mas masarap mag-relax 'don.

Yung retreat master namin, napakahusay. Idol ko talaga yun e, since 2009.

January 29, 2011
Ang una at huli kong field trip. Kinabukasan agad. Oha? haha. Grabe. As in!

Hahahaha. The End. :)

Hush the rush.

Had been busy these past few nights, days, hours and minutes. Tiktok, it's 12AM. I only feel like it's 8PM. I have a lot of loads to do and to finish. I'm currently arranging our book for Greek Mythology but I can't finish it. The pages are still thin. And because Master Bob put a big influenced on his fool readers like me, I forced myself to finished the mock-up before the body itself. Well, I'm done with the cover but I'm not sure if my group mates will appreciate it as much as I do. Anyway, what matter is the body. I have no idea how to start editing those copy-paste biography of Gods. That's hard! Even though I thought that it wasn't. That's all for today, I have to deal with this works first.

I'm suffering in a cough+cold and husky voice. Aw.

The good and the bad: Part 4.

Wednesday | December 29, 2010

3 days before 2011. Today is my mom’s birthday! :))

DECEMBER 2010. My last intramurals in HS. December 6-13, 2010. My best friend and I were chosen to become the participants in badminton doubles. Unfortunately, we only got the third place. But it’s fine. Our section got a lot of medals from different indoor games. We also got 4 trophies. Volleyball girls and boys got the second place. We got second place on best muse and champion for basketball.

My last Christmas party in HS. December 17, 2010. “I’m so excited. I just can’t hide it.” Hindi ako mapakali the day before our Christmas party. I only slept for 3 hours.

An unusual but ordinary Christmas. December 25, 2010. Unlike the old times, we didn’t have any Christmas reunion or what.
We just attend the Saturday mass, eat lunch at home, and watch movie at mall. That’s it. It was fun.

NOVEMBER 2010. 11.16.10 is Sir Marcky’s birthday. We’re planning to have a surprise party for him.

We heard about the news that there is no class on his birthday. The government scheduled it as holiday.

Before my adviser’s birthday, my classmates made a mistake. They always do this. My adviser was so disappointed. He told us that we must stop/cancel whatever we plan to do. But no matter what, we still continue. We found out that the teachers will stay on the school in 16 for some reason.

11. 16. 10 was fun. :))

OCTOBER 2010. It was ANNlimiteds Halloween Party but because I do not have money for fees and travels, I didn’t attend. :(

October 29, 2010 is my sister’s 18th birthday.

The good and the bad: Part 3.

Tuesday | December 28, 2010

4 days before 2011.

SEPTEMBER 2010. Can’t recall. Can’t recall. Can’t recall.

AUGUST 2010. Unfortunately, I didn’t have presents to any of them. Haha. August. Really random month.

August 5, 2010. My 5 months old cellphone was snatched. Aw. I don’t want to talk about it. *sigh*

August 7, 2010. This is it. THIS IS REALLY IS IT. Hahahahahaha. It was the UPCAT day. I’m one of the 60,000+ who took up the University of the Philippines College Admission Test. Gawd. It’s really... Ugh. I’m.. I’m speechless. Haha, kidding.

Well, did you know that I’m one of those ‘early birds’? I’m afraid to come late and failed to take the test. J After few hours of waiting, someone found me while I’m standing on the corridor. Finally, I got someone whom I can talk up to. It’s AJ, he’s a batch mate. He’s also there to take the UPCAT. Then, after exchanging some talks the proctor told us to fall in line.

We start the examination. It was Language Proficiency, Science, Mathematics, and Reading Comprehension. Just think of how much my mind was tortured before it got to those boring paragraphs. Urgh... Haha. That was my first entrance test in college and to be honest, I’m really pressure. It was a time-pressure exam.

August 27, 2010. We won the 1st place in Buwan ng Wika’s Talking Tableau. If you want to watch the winning piece of our section, here’s the link.

August 31, 2010. =’(

JULY 2010. Of course, I’m excited for my birthday! Hahaha. Well, it was posted here. By the way, it’s also my friends’ birthdays. July 1 for Steven and July 3 for Luziel.
