For good.

Guess what Blogger? =)

I am BACK, ofcourse. I really missed blogging! Anyway, its been a long busy time for all of us. Well as I told you lately we practice a lot for that competition (Talking Tableau), we studied much for that examination (Our Last First Periodic Test), but we are not finish yet because the National Career Assessment Examination was rescheduled in September. It’s for good, maybe. So eto na,

About the Talking Tableau: We started our rehearsals since the 3rd day of August and until the 26th. Therefore, we had 9 practices. 50+ in the class, we are only 24 in the tableau. Though we are only 24 (maximum of contestants is 25), we still find a way to make our concept the best. We do this with the help of God, of our beloved adviser, and of course the pasimuno of our concept, our trainor kuya Ersan. Maybe we cannot do everything without the help of these people.

August 25, 2010. We had the rehearsal in the gymnasium. We watched the tableau of the juniors and our siblings IV-Saint Peter. I was dreadful that time; they were good.

August 26, 2010. The school practiced for the whole program (isahang awit, sayaw interpretasyon, and talking tableau). After we performed, we immediately go back in HS department because of our Periodic Performance in Values Education. Unfortunately, our group just got the lowest place. But it was okay then. After the class hours, we had our last practice for tableau. Kuya Ersan advised us that what we need to do is the necessary, not the best. Then he and our beloved adviser break the silence by their words of wisdom (naks).

August 27, 2010. This is the day of settlement. At early at 9 am we started to fix our hair, arranged our dress, etc. Our trainor told us not to eat 2 hours before the competition and so we don’t. We had a little tampo with our B.A. because of some misunderstanding. At exactly 1 pm, all of the high school students went to the gymnasium. The program started. My classmates and I had little conversations and laugh trips. We are the contestant number 4, when the contestant number 3 started, our adviser told us to internalize. Then we are called. I am shivering and I don’t know why. *laughs* As our trainor told us “Do what is necessary. Huwag yung best. Ibinibigay niyo nga yung best niyo e hindi naman ‘yon yung necessary.” So I do what is necessary. We gave our emotions and everything. After we performed, I feel well maybe it was because we were finished. Then after the intermissions and bla bla blah, every constestant that won were called. The Talking Tableau contestants are the next. 3rd place goes to third year Saint John. 2nd place goes to third year... After we heard that the 2nd place was third year we were once full of fear and tears. Our first place goes to.. the judge stop and explain that in every contest there is a winner. alam niyo kasi napapalakpak talaga yung audience kahit bawal pumalakpak e, patatagalin ko pa ba e kanina pa tumataas yung banner nila. 1st place goes to fourth year Saint Paul. We were full of happiness, as in super happiness. Parang Coke. While we are running through the stage we heard the cheer of our classmates (Saint Paul! 3x).

F.Y.I.

  • Our talking tableau piece is Bangon by Rico Blanco and we need to cry so that we prepare for the internalization.
  • Sa school namin, everytime na may competition bawal pumalakpak after every contestants. Naaabala daw kasi yung judge.
  • Every after practice we pray, we pray before leaving our classroom, we pray two times before we start performing, we pray after we performed. We were full of prayers.

So much of bruises, perspiration, and weary.
