Experience Bataan

After getting so disappointed for a first hell week of October, the second week retrieve its 'hellness' and give back a good karma.

In my whole life, I've only been in Bataan twice. The second time happened just last week (October 9-11, 2011). The CTHTM Travel and Tours Agency offered an open tour for BTM students and after a professor required this tour for a specific subject, we grabbed the opportunity not to missed it. Sunday, the 9th day of October, we met on our university department at 4AM. Because the road is not congested during the dawn, I arrived exactly at the given time. Although, some problems happened that day that caused us to depart late as 6AM. But after all, the tour went very well.

At Bataan Tourism Center

Meet Hazel, my seatmate on the bus

Imagine how high it was (302 ft.)
From the entrance of the resort

BTM fellas!
DAY 1
Before having lunch, we already arrived at Bataan.
First stop is Bataan Tourism Center where you can buy some pasalubong stuffs like Araro cookies and key chains which I bought. Next is Mt. Samat where you can see the 302ft. cross known as Dambana ng Kagitingan. From there, we went straight to the resort where we stayed for 3 nights.

West Nuk Beach

DAY 2
Early in the morning after they feed us breakfast, we went to the West Nuk Beach. A beautiful beach hidden after the zigzag road in Bataan power plant. We had activities there and we got the second place (out of three other teams). After playing hard, we played with the strong waves of the sea, so good and so refreshing!

So active!

 DAY 3
I can't move my body anymore! Hahaha. I've been in water for the last 48 hours of my life in Bataan but see me in Day 3, I'm still alive and kickin'! I just want to enjoy and had the best of it (for me to have no regrets at all).

After having lunch, we bid our goodbye with the resort. Good bye to the wonderful jacuzzi, swimming pools, playing area, small-fishes-that-bites-foot, to Justine 2 (our room that made us not to sleep there again!), to Justine 1 (the other room of girls where we sleep on the 2nd night), to the servants of food, to the delicious foods since day 1 that made us really FAT! To the unforgettable experience in Morong, Bataan's Vista Venice. Adios.

Good morning room mates!

We went here after leaving checking out at the resort
Did you know? That Pawikan Conservation Center in Bataan is not supported by the government. They don't want to get salary from the superiors because with money, the act of voluntarism might disappear. They are awesome people who loves the earth. Let us support them. SAVE TURTLES. SAVE OUR SEAS. OUR FUTURE.

I 99% enjoyed the whole package tour. Although, there are places which is under renovation, not in good quality, doesn't have electric energies/power (because of the typhoons that made this tour delayed). Things are not perfect to be fitted in this world. I'm really glad that I get back in Manila in good health (no worries for mom). And now I'm embracing Bulacan with an evenly tan skin and aching muscles. But it's been a week, and I have recovered from the haggardness. Thanks God!

Sembreak

Waiting for my grades to be encode, enjoying the air at my room, resting and talking with the use of laptop. This is semester break, day 3. I don't have any commitments today in school or to my peers. I love days like this. Just having a very warmth vacation with no worries. Today I am going to enjoy the rest of the break that they have given me.

Watching movies, recreation, get together with old friends. I am planning to go out with people but maybe next week or the other week. I consider this week as a FREE WEEK. Only me, myself, and I. I want to enjoy the rest of the day.

(Top) It's me at Morong, Bataan. (Bottom) Kimpoy Feliciano at New Zealand.

I posted my picture last time on Kimpoysterz's page in Facebook. I got suprised that days after, Paolo went to a beach and posted a picture. WHAT A COINCIDENCE? Hahahaha.

Later, I will be sharing some pictures from our tour in Bataan. Have a great vacation ahead to those who are having their sembreak's.

SeptemberRIFIC!

What happened in 9/11? I didn't even write a thing on the whole month of September. And it sickens' me so much! So I guess I have to stare at this screen again, type, read, and here you go.

So these are the top 5 things that I remembered:1. Mama went home to Philippines2. Run for a greener environment3. BTM 4th General Assembly4. Arnie's Birthdayl5. Schoolworks, etc.
* The first one happened in the 11th day of September. The whole (extended) family, (including cousins, niece, nephew), went to NAIA to pick up my Mama. At 6:20PM, the plane will alight the passengers. My cousins and I were waiting on the TV screen where you can see the people from airplanes. After how many minutes of laughters and excitement, I finally saw her. My mom. And it's really great to see her after a year. I hugged her so tight. I really missed her. I'm glad, she's now here.
My sister, Mama, Tita, and I. Going home from NAIA.

* The next Sunday, 18th day, we had a fun run at Quezon City Circle. It serves as an activity for our CWTS. That day, I'm not feeling very well. But I still dress up and show up. Bring some vitamins and medicines for myself and run. It start from 5AM to 8AM. At the end of the line, you can get a ribbon and a baller for souvenir. After we ran, we signed petitions like "No to mining in Palawan," and others. After that, we took some pictures and then Maine's father gave us a ride to our destinations. That day was tiring. Though, it was fun and I feel refresh after running. It gives me a better feeling.

College peers and I

Girls with Ma'am Tugade, our college Chairperson.
*such an honor*

BTM's people

Girls again! Haha
* 23rd day of September is the birthday of Bim, Bam, Sirrom, and Maica. And I didn't even get a chance to go and party with them because I had another commitment. It was the 3rd General Assembly of BTM (Bachelor in Transportation Management). We went at Manila Grand Opera Hotel wearing casuals'. Before that day came, I am really confused on what to wear in the said event. So, I play with my dresses, take some pictures, etc. (see the pictures).

* Arnie's Birthday is the next day after the convention. In short, the 24th.
I had classes that day but I promised to went there so after I finished my class, I went to mall and buy some gift. Then, I went to my bestfriend's house so we can both went at Arnie's in the same time. I terribly missed them, my high school mates! And I've been looking forward for that night to come because I had missed a lot of birthdays'. I meet them, again! And I was fulfilled. I also meet some of their college peers. Nothing is awesome than that night. (pictures aren't still uploaded)

* SCHOOLWORKS!
Reports, term paper, speech, quiz, and FINALS! College life is fearing my life right now! Hahahah. But no worries, I can still fight for it. I won't give up on studying. And these last two weeks of the first seme, I'm gonna be buried alive. So, break a leg! :)

What to wear on Convention?

I curled my hair and dress up myself. Trying to figure out what to wear on convention.

At the end.. what I wear is a simple blouse with a skirt. Because I'm indecisive, we bought one. Haha. And that's the end of the story.
